Originally from Canada, Doug has been advising clients with Assurity since 2005. His capacity to listen to clients and understand their needs combined with his extensive technical knowledge of financial & legislative issues enables Doug to deliver exceptional personally tailored solutions for his clients.
Naomi Grey
Financial Adviser
After working for Centrelink for over 23 years and completing a Bachelor of Business, I entered the financial services industry with a view to proactively assist people achieve their financial goals and feel financially secure for the future.
Away from the office, Naomi enjoys time at the beach with family and friends, listening to live music and hiking and driving around the beautiful South West.
Connor Shears
Financial Adviser
Connor has been working with clients in the financial services industry since 2018 and relocated to Busselton in 2024 with his young family.
He is a dedicated financial adviser, offerings personalised financial strategies focused on retirement planning, wealth creation and personal insurances.
Passionate about building long-term relationships, Connor combines fresh, innovative approaches with a commitment to helping clients secure their financial futures.
Amanda Chrimes
Client Services Manager
Amanda enjoys liaising and developing rapport with clients. She is likely to be the most positive and enthusiastic personality that you have ever come across. Amanda will not only put a smile on your face, her attention to detail and intelligence ensures that all client requests are implemented appropriately. In her spare time, Amanda likes to exercise and enjoys boating on our beautiful Geographe Bay.
Tracey Head
Client Services Manager
Tracey brings a wealth of knowledge and experiences to our Assurity Team. Tracey has a high attention to detail and works efficiently to ensure our clients are well looked after.
In her spare time, Tracey is an avid cook and keeps the office well fed with her yummy treats. In addition to cooking, she is a green thumb (giving it her best at least) and trying her hand at home renovation, some handy skills to have.
Rosemary Purdie
Office Administrator
Rosie is the office Excel Queen. Her experience with bookkeeping compliments her role as office administrator alongside Kate. If it requires a spreadsheet, Rosie is the go to person.

On a personal level, Rosie enjoys watching a game or two (more than two if we are honest) of cricket, soccer - any sport really.
Kate Horsford
Office Administrator
Kate has been a key member of the Assurity team for over 10 years and has an astounding knowledge of our client base, past and present! Kate keeps everyone on schedule (especially Doug) and always brings a smile to the office and our clients. When Kate isn't keeping us in line at the office, she is running her children around to various activities and getting involved herself with things like mountain biking and gym (coolest Mum ever!)
